Best value sporting ticket in the world

The world’s best value sports and entertainment ticket was unveiled today with the Medibank International Sydney offering ground passes for $9.90.
Tennis stars Serena Williams, Lleyton Hewitt, Jelena Jankovic, David Nalbandian and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga are among those already confirmed for the event next January.
Tournament Director Craig Watson said today, “This is the best value sporting ticket in the world. Sydney sports fans will have the opportunity to see Grand Slam winners and finalists in action for less than ten dollars.”
“We are also giving Sydneysiders a chance to experience world-class tennis for free. On Sunday 11 January the first 5000 people will be given a free ground pass.”
Ground passes to the Medibank International Sydney are available from Sunday 11 to Thursday 15 January.
A $9.90 ground pass holder will have access to all outside and practice courts. They will also be able to enjoy the brand new Live Site, sunset concerts, interactive activities at Fanfest and the relaxed Ale and Wine Bar.
Reserved seats on Centre Court are available from Sunday 11 to Saturday 17 January. Day sessions are held from Sunday 11 to Friday 16 January. Night sessions are held from Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 January.
The women’s finals session is at 7.30pm on Friday 16 January. The men’s finals session is at 4.30pm on Saturday 17 January.
Tickets for reserved seats on Centre Court start at just $24.90 for adults, and prices are available for children and concession card holders. Ticket prices for both the men’s and women’s finals on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 January are priced at $89.90.
