More big names hit the courts today and none bigger than world No.1 Serena Williams, who easily beat Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez. Victoria Azarenka, Dinara Safina, Peter Luczak and Elena Dementieva all joined Serena on the winner’s list while Svetlana Kuznetsova made an early exit.
